P90X: Day 11

First off, I have to say that P90X is an amazing fitness program. I have never felt this good or been in great a shape as I am now.

Now on day 11, I am feeling great amount of momentum. Every day I look forward to coming home and working out. Some days are more of a challenge than others, like plyometrics. Because we live above another unit, we are always concerned that we are making too much noise for our neighbors below. Plyometrics has you doing a lot of jumping, which makes the most amount of noise. This makes if difficult for us to push ourselves and really get the most out of that workout. (more…)

P90X Day 3

I started P90X on Saturday after finishing my 90 Day Challenge with the Power 90 program. I can definitely attest to the X in P90X, that it stands for extreme.

My entire body is sore after two workouts. The workouts are more intense than any I have ever seen or done. They also seem to be targeting different parts to muscles that I have been used to working out. For example, the quad exercises seem to be targeting not only the tops but also the insides and outsides as well. They mimic athletic movements that you might do in certain sports. This makes them feel a bit more natural as well. (more…)

90 Day Fitness Challenge – Day 90

Today Heidi and I reached the 90th day in our 90 Day Fitness Challenge done through the Power 90 workout program. I can definitely feel a tremendous difference in my body. I have more energy and feel stronger all around.

Heidi and had decided a few days ago that we would continue the Power 90 workout program for another 3 weeks. This is to cover the two weeks that I was sick and the following third week that we were in Texas visiting her family. All of those three weeks we did eat by the program but didn’t workout. So our decision is to truly put our bodies at where the Power 90 program would have our bodies had we not slipped those three weeks. (more…)

90 Day Fitness Challenge – Day 52

I am now on day 52 of my 90 Day Fitness Challenge (Power 90 Program – P90), and I have to say that I am feeling great!

I had been really sick for about 2 weeks followed by a Holiday trip for a week visiting Heidi’s family in Texas. So for about 3 weeks, I didn’t work out very much, I think I got in about 4 or five days. I did however follow the meals that we had planned fairly accurately. I think that eating as well as we did considering I didn’t work out as much, helped me keep weight off. (more…)

90 Day Fitness Challenge: Day 32

I am in the beginning of week 4, day 32, in my 90 Day Fitness Challenge.

After having to take the past 7 days off from working out do to sickness, today I am planning to get back at it.

Fortunately, Heidi and I have been very diligent on eating according to the plan. Aside from a couple times of opting to have soup instead of a meal to help feeling better, we stayed right on track. (more…)
