What a first day. Got in and hit the ground running.
Reffed the Star Wars vs Star Trek bout at Freemont, final score was Star Wars 97 to Star Trek 28.
Watched a couple following bouts afterwards. It was a really hot an slightly breezy afternoon. Being on Freemont was like having a blow dryer in your face though.
Talked to Rawk and he asked me to pick up an HR position for Thursday at noon, Team Awesome vs Mas o Menos.
Later on, Skurvi, Ginny and I walked to CVS (down by NYNY), a longer walk than I thought, to get ice as the machines at the hotel were down. On the way back we hit the Belagio to see the water fountain show.
Afterwards, Skurvi and I hung out and chatted with a bunch of fellow derbiests. What a long day but fun day.
