Spore Origins is a new game that was release for the iPhone on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. It uses the accelerometer to move a creature that you create. As you pass levels you can add new types of parts; perceptive, offensive, defensive, movement. You can customize the look of your creature from the color to pattern and can even select a picture from your iPhone to use as a pattern. Another way to customize your creature is by shifting its shape, which I have noticed can really affect the way your creature handles.
I had never played this game before I had purchased it, but I have heard a lot of buzz about it for some time. Most of the buzz started back when the announcement of the Apple App Store would be released and guy from EA Games said that they were working on a iPhone version of their popular game Spore.
Since buying it ($9.99), I have been playing it every moment I get. Mostly trying to get through another level to attach another part and tweak the creature a little more. The graphics of the maps and the creatures are the best I have seen in any iPhone game I have played yet. The game-play with the accelerometer is really easy to get used to and control. If you can drop the ten bones, I would say go for it. If there is anything I have learned, is that new iPhone apps usually get updated as user feedback comes in. Supposedly it has 30 levels, so maybe there might be more in the future. So it is bound to get better. Also, I have yet to experience and bugs (a great plus).
Below is the creature that I have created and am currently using. Yes, that is an apple logo (used a custom wallpaper from my photo gallery).
9/11/8 – 30 Levels confirmed. The two last levels (29 and 30) are very difficult, especially 29. Level 30 is more time consuming, but you can get around having to to the egg capture if you want. All you have to do is get your heart level maxed by eating the green algae and visiting the blue frog over and over. Then eat the squid-like creatures. This will fill your DNA tube. Repeat until complete.

how did you manage to complete level 29?
you are supposed to “lure” fish to attack those big pumpkin creatures, but how?
@sven You can get the purple shield that is just above the first large creature and head back down towards the fish that charge at you. If you have too much energy, they will ignore you. Anything less than half should be ok. As they charge you, you dodge thier attack thus them charging the large creature.
This level really testes your patience. It has taken me as much as 15 minutes to beat this level sometimes. Good luck!
