First off, I have to say that P90X is an amazing fitness program. I have never felt this good or been in great a shape as I am now.
Now on day 11, I am feeling great amount of momentum. Every day I look forward to coming home and working out. Some days are more of a challenge than others, like plyometrics. Because we live above another unit, we are always concerned that we are making too much noise for our neighbors below. Plyometrics has you doing a lot of jumping, which makes the most amount of noise. This makes if difficult for us to push ourselves and really get the most out of that workout.
One of our favorite workouts is the Kenpo X. It is a combination of kickboxing and cardio activities that really get your heart rate going and use so many different muscle sets. When we finished that workout, we both looked at each other and said, “That was an awesome workout!”
Amazingly enough, we have worked out everyday, 10 days in a row now. Our 7th day is usually reserved for eating whatever we want and NOT doing a workout, but we decided to do the X-Stretch workout and we both decided it was worth it. After a week of working out as intensely as we did, stretching those muscles really felt good and help relax us for the rest of the day.
