Thanks for your readership, I have bookmarked your blog as well (fun site BTW).

I like the 31DBBB ebook he put out, it is really informative. I belong to a Facebook group that is working through it as well. I have only gotten into the first 4 days of it and due to my busy schedule, I haven't made the time to continue one with it. Today I will have a new post though LOL.

Darren Rowse has been someone I have followed for a few years now and has had a lot of really valuable info to share. Buying his book was another way for me to support him. I say go for it.

I look forward to connecting with you more in the future as we develop this small but necessary niche.

Hey there, another Dad blogger here. Seems like a small niche we've chosen, which isn't a bad thing ;)

I've been trying to figure out the same thing about what to pitch. So far I've just been writing about being a dad and the funny stuff that happens but eventually I'd like to expand.

I am curious to know what you think about the 31DBBB though. I'm thinking about purchasing but wonder if it's worth it?

Cheers!
Chris

I do this too! Halfway through the day - After lunch, and once I've gotten my little one down for her nap - I set up a work space on our kitchen island. I organize everything with binders, so I bring them with me. Then I can meal plan, schedule blogging posts, pay bills, and make a cleaning schedule. Standing does give you a new sense of urgency to getting things done - Plus, I don't have the "ding" of a new email message from the computer to distract me when I'm in there!

Yeah, I actually have a standing desk at home that I work from most of the time. I also like to take Griffin out for a walk every day with my mom. We all get some fresh air and some exercise.

Some other things popped into my head after walking away from this - some things that help me. One thing: I stand. It sounds stupid but it gives me a different perspective from time to time (both literally and figuratively). I think the lack of physical distractions can somehow be draining, as backwards as that sounds. The simple act of going between standing and sitting seems to help me break up the time and give the sense of change. It's also another form of super light exercise which helps, like you said, since I lose about a mile of walking a day I figure by working from home, since I don't walk to the car, walk to the office, walk to lunch, etc. I also try to get out of the house at least every other day. Being home for more than one day straight makes the walls start to inch inward......

I still have to work out a few kinks on the mobile version. Specifically, the larger images don't fit well on the mobile instance. I thinkI might have figured a way to fix that.
