So this project was sparked because of my friend Joey’s phone and desire for more Star Wars ringtones. He has the light saber turning on ringtone on his phone and when he received a text message on Friday, I heard it and my jaw hit the floor. I was so jealous. I asked him to send me the MP3 so I could convert it and have it on my phone too. Well he emailed it to me and I converted it (m4r), and then added it to my iPhone. He also asked that if I came across any good R2D2 or blaster mp3s to send them to him so he could put them on his phone. I guess I did one better. (more…)

Star Wars Ringtones
Monday, November 24th, 2008iPhone Wallpapers
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008I have created a new iPhone Wallpaper Gallery (they will also work for the iPod Touch). I have been saving wallpapers meant for the iPhone for some time now and have been itching to make a gallery on my site. I will be adding more over the next few days as well. Once I get a fairly large collection, I will start organizing them by category.
They are free so have as many as you would like. The ones that I have gotten from other artists, I did my best to name the image with the title of the picture and the artists name. If you have any that you would like to add to this/these collections let contact me and I will add them. If you have suggestions for new ones, contact me with ideas.
Create Your Own Free iPhone Ringtones
Thursday, September 18th, 2008This method is free and works with any audio track you have, the only limitation is that you can only use tracks that are less than 40 seconds. If you have a track longer than that, you can edit it with a separate utility. I use Audacity which is free. You will also need to download the LAME MP3 Encoder which will allow you to export your newly edited audio file into an MP3. before it function properly. Here’s what you do after you have your finished your audio file:
Review: Star Wars – The Force Unleashed
Thursday, September 18th, 2008I bought the iPhone and XBox 360 versions on Tuesday. I love the 360 version and have been playing it every night for a couple hours.
If you don’t know what it is about already, I will tell you. The story is about a boy named Starkiller that Darth Vader takes under his wing to teach him the ways of the dark side. The difference with this from other Star Wars games, is that the use of the force is unlike anything that has ever been done. You can lift, throw, electrocute and a variety of other force attacks. As you progress through the game, you learn more of these force powers. You do all of this while using the touch screen to control your attacks and defenses.
Review: Spore Origins
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008Spore Origins is a new game that was release for the iPhone on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. It uses the accelerometer to move a creature that you create. As you pass levels you can add new types of parts; perceptive, offensive, defensive, movement. You can customize the look of your creature from the color to pattern and can even select a picture from your iPhone to use as a pattern. Another way to customize your creature is by shifting its shape, which I have noticed can really affect the way your creature handles.
