Started off at the Las Vegas Sports Center and HRed the Team Awesome vs Mas o Menos, final score 59 to 8 Team Awesome. The floor at LVSC was like skating on ice covered in baby poo, slick as hell.
I also picked up my new set of skates, Riedell Vandal 265. So much better than the pair I had which were old and busted an uncomfortable.
Now we are all off to Freemont for more “wind tunnel of heat” bouts.
What a first day. Got in and hit the ground running.
Reffed the Star Wars vs Star Trek bout at Freemont, final score was Star Wars 97 to Star Trek 28.
Watched a couple following bouts afterwards. It was a really hot an slightly breezy afternoon. Being on Freemont was like having a blow dryer in your face though. (more…)
Just checked in to the Imperial Palace, Las Vegas. Heidi and I will be in room 9152 in the tower over-looking the pool.
I am up late the night before I leave for Rollercon ‘09. After work I stopped by the T-Shirt Mart in the Sports Arena area and picked up my custom shirts. They look pretty sweet. I can’t wait to sport them! Now, it’s off to try and get some sleep, it’s going to be a long and crazy and fun week, all wrapped into one.
