90 Day Fitness Challenge – Day 90

Today Heidi and I reached the 90th day in our 90 Day Fitness Challenge done through the Power 90 workout program. I can definitely feel a tremendous difference in my body. I have more energy and feel stronger all around.

Heidi and had decided a few days ago that we would continue the Power 90 workout program for another 3 weeks. This is to cover the two weeks that I was sick and the following third week that we were in Texas visiting her family. All of those three weeks we did eat by the program but didn’t workout. So our decision is to truly put our bodies at where the Power 90 program would have our bodies had we not slipped those three weeks.

I have also moved to a heavier resistance band in the hopes that this will continue to sculpt my arms. This would be the third band that I am on since the program started. I am also a bit glad that we decided a long time ago to get these resistance bands because they really seem to be useful. Between the ease of use and portability, you can also manually change the tension by creating less slack therefore creating the sense of more weight.

We have both noticed that we had quite a bit of momentum before our three week slip, and are starting to feel that momentum return. I am very excited to see where we will be in the next 3 weeks. Once we finish the three weeks, we will be posting our pictures up for everyone to see. I am planning to do a side by side comparison of the picture angles to see the progression.

    Next up P90X (Extreme!) You will enjoy the workouts and variety. I can attest to it (along with a ton of others too :)
